Fantastic products, will buy again!

I absolutely love my new Akko ACR Pro 75! The build quality is exceptional, and the Akko V3 Cream Blue Switches feel incredibly smooth to type on. I also grabbed an Akko PBT Keycaps set, and they look and feel amazing. The unboxing experience was great, everything was packaged securely. Shipping was faster than I expected, got it in 5 days. I'm already planning my next purchase, maybe a new deskmat or some different switches. Seriously impressed with Akko and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality peripherals!

Good first experience, clear value

I was looking for a new keyboard and stumbled upon Akko. I ended up getting the Akko PC75B Plus. The website was easy to navigate, and I appreciated seeing the different keycap profiles explained clearly. My order shipped out fairly quickly, arriving in 4 days. I also added some Akko CS Jelly Pink Switches. The quality for the price felt really good, especially considering what some other brands charge. I was on a budget, and this purchase felt like a smart choice.

Always reliable, great quality

This was my third time ordering from Akko, and as usual, the experience was smooth. I picked up an Akko 5075B Plus keyboard this time. It felt just as solid and well-built as the Akko 3068B Plus I got last year. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my place in Ohio, which is pretty consistent with my past orders. I keep coming back because their products hold up well, and I haven't had any issues with their customer service either.

Decent switches, long wait

I ordered a pack of Akko CS Lavender Purple Switches. They arrived after about 8 days, which was a bit longer than I hoped for, but they perform well. The switches themselves feel nice. No real issues with the product.

If I get a keyboard and it's not quite right, how's the return process with Akko? Is it a hassle?

N Nina 2 months ago
Nah, returns were pretty straightforward for me. Just follow the instructions on their site, I think you get a shipping label. Did it last month for a keycap set I didn't like.

I had to return a keyboard once because I ordered the wrong layout. It wasn't too bad, just make sure you keep all the original packaging. They were pretty responsive to my emails about it.

Hey guys, thinking about grabbing an Akko 5075B Plus. Anyone know if there's a student discount or something similar available? Or should I just wait for a holiday sale?

B Ben Kaur 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually have a student discount! You just need to verify your student status, I think through some partner site. Worth checking out their FAQ or support page to find the link.

I'd say check their site for a student discount first, but honestly, Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales are usually pretty good if you can hold out. I got my MOD 007 v2 last year for like 20% off during a sale.

Just ordered a barebones kit and some switches from Akko. How long does shipping usually take to California? Kinda anxious to build it!

J June 2 months ago
From my experience, usually 1-2 weeks for the US. I'm in Texas and got my last order in about 10 days.

Mine took a bit longer, maybe 2.5 weeks to LA. It really depends on customs sometimes, but Akko usually ships pretty quick after processing.

Are Akko switches compatible with regular Cherry MX PCBs? Want to try some of their custom switches but already have a board.

K Kevin Romero 3 months ago
Yep! Akko switches are usually Cherry MX style, so they'll fit most PCBs that take MX switches. Just double-check if your PCB is 3-pin or 5-pin, Akko makes both.

Yeah, they're compatible. I've swapped Akko CS Jelly Blacks into a few of my boards that originally had Gateron or Cherry switches without any issues.

Hey, thinking about the Akko 3098B, but also looking at a Keychron Q1. Anyone have experience with both or can compare them? Not sure which to go with.

P Paula 2 months ago
Totally different vibes. Keychron Q series is usually metal, heavier, and more premium feeling, with QMK/VIA support. Akko boards are often plastic or a mix, lighter, but come with great stock switches and keycaps. Depends on if you want to mod a lot or just use it out of the box.

I have an Akko 5075B Plus and a Keychron K6. Akko's switches and keycaps are way better stock, imo. Keychron's are good, but I always end up replacing them. If you want a good typing experience OOTB, Akko wins. If you want a solid metal base for modding, Keychron.
